In the municipality of atripalda a robbery was reported against some condominium garages. The culprit, a 67-year-old man with a criminal record for theft, was arrested while trying to steal a scooter and power tools.
The Carabinieri responded to a report from several residents to 112 and managed to arrest the man. The criminal's accomplice, a young local man, managed to escape but was reported.
During the search, burglary tools, a flashlight, and gloves were found. At the direction of the Avellino Prosecutor's Office, the man was transferred to the Provincial Carabinieri Headquarters to await trial.
