Some of them committed these crimes while under house arrest, demonstrating particularly organized criminal behavior that was harmful to businesses and consumers in the area. The primary targets of the individuals involved were the RRU (Radio Remote Unit) modules installed on the antennas of mobile phone operators in the area.
Some of the stolen materials were found in the process of being processed on land owned by one of the suspects, which was subsequently seized. Furthermore, during the searches, a large quantity of foreign-produced tobacco was discovered at the home of another individual involved in the criminal organization.
This law enforcement operation helped thwart an illicit activity aimed at personal profit at the expense of the security and proper functioning of telecommunications infrastructure.
