Anti-Camorra blitz in Torre Annunziata against the Gionta and Gallo Cavalieri clans: 12 people ended up in prison.
The order for the application of the precautionary measure in prison issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples - District Anti-Mafia Directorate, concerns 12 people considered seriously suspected of mafia-type criminal association and association aimed at the illicit trafficking of narcotics.
The arrests were carried out by the military of the Carabinieri Group of Torre Annunziata.
According to the investigations, two of the subjects involved are linked to the Camorra organizations “Gallo – Cavalieri clan” and “Gionta clan”, active in the Torre Annunziata area.
There is also suspicion of the existence of a parallel organization dedicated to drug trafficking, linked to the “Gallo – Cavalieri clan”, with the aim of supplying drug dealing areas in the area.
