A 17-year-old Egyptian boy was arrested in Casagiove, in the Caserta area, for making death threats against an operator of a residential community for minors.
The young man, already known for his aggressive behavior, reacted violently when the operator refused to give him money and a pack of cigarettes.
The police were called by the facility manager after unsuccessful attempts to calm the young man, who also damaged the property. When the police intervened, the minor resisted and lunged at them.
After a vain attempt to calm his anger, the military managed to arrest him and take him to the first reception center in Naples. During the personal search, a 22 cm long switchblade was found and seized.
The young man continued to show rebellious behavior during subsequent operations. The 17-year-old will have to answer for various crimes, including mistreatment of cohabitants, attempted extortion, threats and resistance to a public official.
The situation was managed with no small amount of difficulty, but in the end the young man was arrested and taken to the appropriate reception facilities.
