A 26 year old man was arrested by the Carabinieri in Castel Volturno on board his Peugeot 108, while travelling along the SS 7 Quater at high speed.
The young man's suspicious behavior attracted the attention of the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Territorial Department of Mondragone, who stopped and searched him.
During the check it emerged that the car was a real "drug shop", containing various types of narcotics and drug dealing equipment. Inside the car were found 34,85 grams of cocaine, 128,31 grams of hashish, 75 grams of marijuana, a precision electronic scale, two smartphones with sim cards, and 1.050 euros in cash.
Furthermore, numerous cellophane bags used for packaging the drugs were found.
The young man, already known to the police, was arrested and taken to prison in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, where he will have to answer for possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
