During a series of checks carried out yesterday by various police forces in Vomero, in the most popular nightlife areas, 346 people were identified, 40 of whom had criminal records.
75 vehicles were also checked, 2 violations of the Highway Code were found and 8 commercial establishments were checked. Among the violations found, 5 establishments were fined for a total of 18.800 euros.
Critical issues related to food safety and hygiene have been reported, particularly the failure to update the food safety and hygiene sheets and the failure to display the manual and the aforementioned sheets.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the Labour Inspectorate of Napoli, 3 prescriptions were imposed on 5 commercial establishments for serious violations in terms of health and safety in the workplace.
This control activity aims to ensure compliance with current regulations and to protect public safety and well-being in nightlife areas, which are particularly popular during the summer period.
