In a debate on the topic of poverty, the governor of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca, proposed to reinstate the inclusion income as an effective tool to address the problem.
He stressed the importance of avoiding purely propagandistic approaches and suggested following the approach adopted during the Gentiloni government, which actively involved municipalities in the process of identifying poverty-stricken areas.
De Luca highlighted the need for a secular and responsible approach, which takes into account the available resources and avoids distortions in the system. The involvement of local institutions and families in poverty was identified as a fundamental element for an effective strategy.

His proposal to return to the inclusion income represents a first step towards a more inclusive and effective social policy in combating poverty.
