The mayor of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Antonio Mirra, announced the naming of the new Children's Center after Don Peppe Diana.
The priest killed by the Casalesi clan and just yesterday the thirtieth anniversary of his death was celebrated. Mirra underlined the importance of the legacy of Don Peppe Diana, an example of love and altruism that he hopes will be passed down to future generations.
The aim of the new Early Childhood Center is to offer educational services to the local community. Three municipal nursery schools are currently being built, financed with approximately 3 million euros from various funds, which will accommodate a total of 90 children in the 0-3 age group.
This initiative represents an important step forward in the social growth of the territory, guaranteeing mothers the opportunity to work and children an educational path from a very young age.
The new Early Childhood Center, located in Via Giotto, will be added to the nursery school already present on site. This project, with an investment of approximately 2 million euros, is part of a broader context of improving public educational services in the territory of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
The inauguration ceremony of the center is scheduled soon, in honor of Don Peppe Diana and his extraordinary contribution to the community.
