The new album "Utopia-ia-o" by the group Nino Bruno e le 8 Tracce is finally available from Goodfellas Edizioni. This is the fifth album by the band, which boasts a successful musical career with previous albums such as "Cane telepate" (2009) and "Cuore deserto" (2015).
This new musical chapter features a collaboration with artistic producer Marco Messina (99 Posse) and mastering at Il Parco Ninni Pascale. The album was preceded by the singles "Viva Caporetto" and "Mamma mia che brutte facce," which showcase the Neapolitan band's shifting soundscape.
The music on "Utopia-ia-o" blends elements of glam rock, carnival sounds, and Latin rhythms, inspired by artists like David Bowie, Gary Glitter, and Marc Bolan. The songs reflect a lighter, more playful approach, exploring diverse themes from national defeat to surrealism.
The album's tracklist includes songs like "Scheletro di ferro," "Imbroglione," and "E furba io," which stand out for their uniqueness and originality. With a sound that draws on both the past and present of Italian and international music, Nino Bruno and the 8 Tracce offer an engaging and surprising musical experience.
