April Fools' Day is synonymous with a unique experience for nature and trekking lovers: the eco-excursion of Easter Monday 2024 on Vesuvio, organized by the social promotion association Vesuvio Natura da Esplorare and the cultural association Econote, promises authentic and sustainable emotions.
The event, conceived as a green alternative to the traditional Easter Monday hikes, offers the opportunity to explore one of the most picturesque and verdant trails in the Vesuvius National Park, located in the Tirone Alto-Vesuvio Forest Reserve. Nature and hiking guides will accompany participants along a trail suitable for all ages, ages 6 and up, ensuring a privileged view of the area's scenic and natural beauty.
The excursion has two departures: in the morning at 10:13 am, with an expected return at 00:14 pm, and in the afternoon at 30:17 pm, with a return at 30:4 pm. Reservations are required by email to info@econote.it, indicating the name, number of participants, and mobile number. The selected route, Trail XNUMX of the Alto Tirone Forest Reserve, offers breathtaking scenery across the Piano delle Ginestre, with views spanning from the Gran Cono del Vesuvius to the Gulf of Naples, encompassing the Sorrento Peninsula and the island of Capri.

During the excursion, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and learn the importance of its protection, through a walk in an environment rich in biodiversity and volcanic history. The participation fee is €20 for adults and €10 for children and youths up to 18 years old. The trail, approximately 5.000 meters long, features an elevation gain of 100 meters and a maximum altitude of 625 meters above sea level. The hike takes approximately three hours.
During the excursion, it is forbidden to light fires, disturb the flora and fauna, abandon waste, or leave the guide's side. However, you are permitted to walk, take photographs, listen to the guides, and discover nature in all its beauty. The Vesuvio Natura da Esplorare association, founded in 2013, has been committed for years to promoting a culture of sustainability and spreading awareness and respect for nature through guided excursions in the Vesuvius National Park.
