It is a voice message from Giulia Tramontano sent the day she was killed, to the girl with whom Alessandro Impagnatiello had a parallel relationship. The audio was played in the courtroom.
The relationship with Impagnatiello
The 23-year-old met Impagnatiello in June 2022 and their relationship began in September. On the day of the murder, Impagnatiello, after killing Giulia, also tried to enter the 23-year-old's house, who did not open the door and spoke to him from the window.
The girl was afraid of him and worried about Giulia. The investigation revealed that the 30-year-old could have also killed the other girl that evening. A girl who, as she herself said, had collected "the evidence of his deceptions".
Messages with Giulia
The witness sent a message to Giulia, telling her to save herself and that she wanted to save her and her baby. “Please save yourself as soon as you can. Now I want and have to save you and your baby.” It was 14.30:27 p.m. on May XNUMX.
The two girls met on May 27 to discuss their respective relationships with Impagnatiello. Both had discovered his lies.
The murder
From 20.30:27 PM on May 23, it was no longer Giulia who responded to the XNUMX-year-old's messages, but Impagnatiello who was using his girlfriend's phone. "Giulia was no longer responding to me in those messages, they were very cold messages." That evening, then, he "answered me on the third call" and told her that Giulia was not at home but "at a friend's house."
Yet another lie. “Giulia, after the meeting that afternoon,” the 23-year-old explained, “told me that she would talk to him, while she and I were talking I remember that she was telling me about Impagnatiello, how he was at home and that he wanted to have power in the house, that what he said had to be done, she wasn’t happy, she had spent months being unhappy.”
The request for a psychiatric assessment
Impagnatiello's defense is considering asking the Court for a psychiatric evaluation. The man is very distressed and has special restrictions in prison due to his psychological state.
