The Salerno Prosecutor's Office has issued an arrest warrant against a man accused of the murder of Pavle Shubiditze, a 49-year-old Georgian citizen, which occurred on March 2 in Salerno. The arrested man is also a fellow countryman of the victim. The investigations conducted by the Salerno Prosecutor's Office have brought to light that the murder was the result of a violent fight, which took place in via Vinciprova, between the suspect and the victim.
The reasons behind the tragic event seem to be linked to personal conflicts. During the fight, according to what was reconstructed by investigators, the situation quickly degenerated, culminating with two blows inflicted on the victim, now helpless on the sidewalk.
Law enforcement officers identified and interviewed several eyewitnesses who witnessed the incident, thus contributing to the advancement of the investigation. The identification of the alleged perpetrator of the murder was made thanks to technical investigations conducted by the State Police, which allowed them to trace the man. During a subsequent interrogation, the arrested man admitted his participation in the fight that led to the death of Pavle Shubiditze.
