The Carabinieri of Giugliano in Campania arrested two men of Roma ethnicity during an anti-robbery operation.
During the service, the soldiers noticed two people aboard an Opel Astra moving slowly through the main streets of the city.
After a stakeout and a chase that spanned several municipalities, the suspects were caught committing a robbery in a parking lot in Lusciano.

The two were subsequently stopped at Giugliano and arrested, not without resistance. During the arrest, a police officer suffered minor injuries.
The car was seized, the loot was returned and the two arrested men, aged 21 and 31, are currently awaiting trial.
