The Carabinieri of the station of Giugliano In Campania, they arrested a 29-year-old local man, the operator of a residential community for minors in difficulty, accused of two episodes of sexual violence against two young girls staying at the facility.
The investigation, directed by the Public Prosecutor's Office of North Naples, began following the complaint filed by one of the two victims, an eighteen-year-old who said she had been groped by the educator while she was in a state of alcohol intoxication.
Subsequent investigations revealed a second case, that of a sixteen-year-old girl who was allegedly forced into full sexual intercourse by the man.
The educator, who at the time of his arrest was still working in the residential community, was arrested on suspicion of crime and taken to prison by order of the GIP of the Court of Naples North.
This is a very serious case that raises deep concern, especially due to the nature of the crime committed and the role played by the suspect, who was supposed to protect the minors entrusted to him.
The Carabinieri investigations continue to ascertain any further responsibilities and to shed light on what happened inside the residential community.
The Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples North has expressed its firm condemnation for the crimes charged to the suspect and is committed to shedding full light on the matter, guaranteeing maximum support to the victims.
