A white Fiat Bravo was the protagonist of a prolonged chase over 10 kilometers long, which ended successfully thanks to the timely intervention of the Carabinieri of the Giugliano radiomobile section. The car was spotted on Via Appia, in the direction of Sant'Antimo, and the driver immediately accelerated for no apparent reason at the sight of the patrol.
The reckless ride ended in the Asi area, where the people on board, presumably of Roma ethnicity, abandoned the vehicle and managed to escape on foot. The car was seized, and the license plates were found to be associated with another vehicle. Inside the passenger compartment, burglary tools were found.
The rapid and coordinated intervention of the Carabinieri made it possible to avert potential risks and ensure public safety. The occupants of the vehicle, now on the run, are being investigated and will be wanted to answer for their actions. The incident highlights the importance of the readiness of the police in managing emergency situations and ensuring legality on the territory.
