**Concerts for Federico: The Music of Wellbeing in Naples**
The Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti presents “La Musica del Benessere” as the first event of the “Concerti per Federico” series at the Federico II University of Naples. In collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II, the event will be held on Thursday, March 14 at 19:2 pm at the Complesso Scampia of the Federico II University. This initiative is part of the FXNUMX Cultura program, which aims to open university spaces to quality music, making it accessible to all.
On the occasion of the celebrations of the 800th anniversary of Federico II, the event will offer a varied program that spans different historical periods and musical genres. The Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti, together with soprano Chiara Polese and under the direction of Giuseppe Galiano, will offer an engaging performance composed of orchestral and vocal pieces.
Among the works on the program, pieces by authors such as Vivaldi, Beethoven, Rossini and Ennio Morricone stand out. The main goal is to convey the joy and well-being that music can give, while promoting beauty as an instrument of union and peace.
The “Concerts for Federico” series will continue with other unmissable events, including the “Spring Concert” at the Galoppatoio della Reggia di Portici, the “Mediterranean Blues” at the University Complex of Monte Sant'Angelo and the “Concert of the 800 years of Federico II” in the monumental Courtyard of the Statues of the University. Finally, on June 2nd the VI Edition of “Orto Sonoro – A sound for every plant” will be held in the Botanical Garden of Naples, with the participation of the Orchestra Scarlatti Junior and Scarlatti per Tutti. All events are free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in music in historical and evocative contexts.
