A very serious episode of aggression against a nurse on duty at 118 occurred the other evening in Maddaloni in the province of Caserta.
The attack is recounted by the victim herself through the social page of the association Nessuno Tocchi Ippocrate.
“I am a nurse at station 118 Maddaloni and last night, around 20pm, we were alerted to go to a road accident, where there were several people involved and an unconscious boy on the ground.
We arrive after a few minutes and I start to go down to help the boy on the ground. The boy was conscious but agitated and I ask him his name. At this point he gets up and with incredible strength grabs me by the throat squeezing, lifts me off the ground throwing me into the shutter making me fall, not happy he pounced on me and only at that point some men took me away in an ambulance.
My driver and I locked ourselves in the ambulance and alerted the police. While we were waiting, the attacker wanted to get closer and while they kept him at bay I was called with particular epithets "slut, idiot" urging me to get out again to calm the agitated patient.
I went to the hospital and luckily only had a cervical contusion and bruises on my neck."
