In the municipality of Marigliano, in the province of Naples, more than 100 kilos of untraceable food products were seized by the Carabinieri Forestali Unit.
During an inspection at a pastry shop, ingredients expired in 2016 were discovered used to prepare the desserts.
In addition, untraceable products such as margarine, Parisian puff pastry, melted chocolate, pepper mix, cream puff pastry, candied fruit and caramelized almonds were identified.
