Mazzariello returns on Friday March 15th with the new single 'Finestre verdi'

A chaotic greeting, a moment before departure.

Broken flowers, long silences and red eyes marked by tears. It is with these images that Mazzariello recounts the moments before her departure. It is a chaotic and at the same time necessary farewell that, although it cannot hide some bitterness, is lived in the hope that she can realize her dreams elsewhere, far from him.

“Finestre Verdi” (Futura Dischi/Epic Records Italy) is the new single by Mazzariello, out Friday 15 March on all digital platforms and from today in pre-save at the link https://Epic.lnk.to/FinestreVerdi.

The song - anticipated on social media by an acoustic clip, at the link https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4V2JvBMc3F - it does not represent the ideal of lightheartedness and freedom that the title might suggest, but rather a moment of deep reflection on the great changes in one's life.

“As from a window you can see over the years the construction of a building or the change of a street - comments Mazzariello - so it can happen to see, gradually, a person grow. 'Finestre Verdi' is the story of a girl who goes to live outside of Italy for reasons related to university. For her, this means leaving behind places and people in which part of her story is told. The song talks about living the distance intensely to feel everything closer, about playing and scraping your knees, which in the end is just a wound and we don't think about it anymore”.

In "Finestre Verdi," Mazzariello discusses the moments when you have to make "grown-up" decisions, regardless of whether you're a grown-up or not, in a melancholy and poignant ballad. The new single follows the release of "Blindati" (https://epic.lnk.to/Blindati) and represents another step in Mazzariello's journey, increasingly versatile and able to find the right words to express his emotions.

Mazzariello was born with Antonio: being his surname, one has never separated from the other, but for friends he is only Mazzariello. He writes his songs starting from the guitar, sometimes on the piano, but it is the words that he has always been fascinated by. After publishing his first songs in 2021, with “Pubblicità Progresso” he laid the foundations to establish himself as one of the most promising young singer-songwriters on the emerging Italian scene. In 2022 he joined the roster of Futura Dischi, with which he published his first EP “ufficio oggetti smarriti” in January 2023. At the beginning of 2024 he returned with “Blindati”, followed by “Finestri Verdi” (Futura Dischi/Epic Records Italy): one single after another Mazzariello is demonstrating his ability to build an evocative and colorful world with music, giving a voice to life and its emotions, whether positive or negative, in an extremely intimate and personal way.
