A man living in Castel Volturno, Caserta, has been placed in custody in prison following charges of stalking and robbery. The decision was made by the investigating judge, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, at the end of an in-depth investigation that allowed the suspect's harassing behavior to be outlined.
These behaviors, directed toward a woman with whom he had had an emotional relationship, generated a well-founded fear for his safety and that of his relatives, in addition to causing a persistent state of anxiety and fear. The last incriminating episode, a violent argument that occurred in Castel Volturno, ended with threats and the appropriation of the woman's cell phone.
This event prompted the victim to file a complaint at the police station. The issuance of the detention order in prison is a response to the serious accusations made against the man, highlighting the need to protect the safety and tranquility of the victim and her loved ones.
