On Saturday, an unusual sighting caught the attention of officers from the Fuorigrotta Highway Police Subsection along the Naples ring road. A man on a scooter was crossing the ring road with his front wheel off the road, a dangerous maneuver that immediately attracted the officers' attention.
Faced with this situation, the officers decided to intervene, stopping the driver for a thorough check. What they discovered raised further concerns: the driver was in possession of a driving license issued by Ukraine, but with some suspicious graphic features and printing imperfections that clearly indicated the document was fake.

As a result of this discovery, the driver, a 26-year-old Ukrainian citizen, was charged with using a forged document. He was also charged with several traffic violations, including driving a motorcycle with Polish license plates, using a rental agreement without a driver for a period exceeding 30 days, and failing to register with the Register of Foreign Vehicles (RE.VE). Furthermore, the dangerous maneuver of driving with the front wheel raised resulted in additional fines.
Finally, the vehicle was placed under administrative detention for 60 days, as a precautionary measure to ensure road safety and prevent further violations by the driver. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting traffic regulations and using driving documentation correctly to ensure the safety of all road users.
