A day of hiking on the enchanting island of Ischia turned tragic for a 69-year-old man, who died while walking along the roads of Serrara Fontana. Rescue services were promptly activated after a report reached the GeoResQ Operations Center in Cassano Irpino (Av). The report indicated an unconscious man on a path near the Church of San Nicola.
The alarm was raised by a young woman who, also participating in the excursion, witnessed the man's illness and promptly requested the intervention of the CNSAS via the GeoResQ app.
