The Association of Basic Taxi Drivers of Naples in a note released today applauds the indications of the TAR of Campania according to which "in Naples there is no need for other licenses for Taxis".
And it is for this reason that he asks the agency for the control of the market and competition, “to take into account the serious traffic situation: non-scheduled public transport is in difficulty due to the failure to comply with the 'ASSET' decree, issued by the Government, which imposes commercial speed on municipalities”.
But despite this “In Naples there are no preferential lanes for taxis,” the association recalls.
Furthermore, the association concludes, “it is not true that the data acquired in the radiotaxi facilities are not certain” just because “they do not have tools for monitoring city traffic.”
