This morning, an important meeting was held at the prefecture in Napoli chaired by the prefect Michele di Bari.
The objective of the Permanent Technical Table was to monitor the status of the places and agreements for the use of churches owned by the Fund for Places of Worship. During the meeting, the implementation of the Agreement for the restoration of cultural heritage financed with resources from the Pnrr was analyzed.
The prefect of Bari stressed the importance of proceeding quickly with the established lines of action for the restoration of churches and bell towers, inviting all parties involved to contribute to the protection of this cultural and religious heritage.
The central director of Religious Affairs, prefect Alessandro Tortorella, praised the synergy between the institutional actors involved, confirming that the activities are taking place according to plan.
During the meeting it was also agreed to carry out immediate inspections of buildings that require safety or restoration work. The meeting was attended by institutional representatives of the Prefecture of Avellino, the Archdiocese of Naples, the Interregional Office for Public Works and the Superintendencies of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape.
The collaboration between the various actors present demonstrates the strong commitment to preserving and enhancing the cultural and religious heritage of the area.
