Meanwhile, the autopsy revealed that he died of cardiac arrest and therefore it was not a suicide because he had not ingested any drugs or strange substances.
After trying to prevent the robbery of his service pistol, which he believed had been orchestrated by the Camorra, the man feared that the mafia might seek revenge on his children.
He believed that his wife was being too permissive with their children, exposing them to the danger of possible retaliation, a situation that initially resulted in a fight and later in murder.
This is one of the disconcerting aspects that is emerging from the investigations into the murder of Ewa Kaminska, the 48-year-old woman of Polish origins killed by her husband, Pasquale Pinto, a 55-year-old former security guard, on February 8.
Pinto, after killing his wife, fired several gunshots from the window, creating panic in the San Giovanni a Teduccio neighborhood, in the eastern suburbs of Naples, which was quickly secured by the police.
When police entered the house, they found the woman dead from multiple gunshot and stab wounds, and her husband on the ground, but with no visible signs of violence. The discovery of a bottle near Pinto's body suggested that he may have committed suicide with a drug overdose, but the autopsy revealed that he died of a heart attack.
From the testimonies collected, other details emerged on the sad story, which are now the subject of investigation: Pinto – father of three children aged 14, 16 and 18 – had been injured during the robbery attempt and had lost his job due to the physical injuries.
He was afraid that the Camorra could harm his children and for this he scolded his wife
Despite the hardships, he had always tried to provide for his family in the most dignified way possible. He was convinced that the Camorra had tried to steal his gun and feared that they might seek revenge on his children.
For this reason, he always kept them under close surveillance. The fight that led to the murder on the fateful February 8, 2024, according to the investigation, was triggered by his inability to monitor his children at that time.
