Naples is preparing for the first edition of the Motor Show, which will be held from April 12th to 14th, enlivening the Lungomare Caracciolo. Tomorrow, the Napoli Racing Show – Naples Grand Prix will be presented at the Tennis Club Napoli on Viale Anton Dohrn. Some of the racing cars, both modern and historic, participating in the event will be unveiled for the first time. For the occasion, the cars will be on display in the outdoor spaces of the Tennis Club Napoli until 6:00 p.m., when they will depart in procession to present the route of the circuit, which will be set up along the Lungomare Caracciolo.
Journalists will have the opportunity to climb aboard the supercars driven by the drivers who will take turns during the three days dedicated to motors. At 18:15 the press conference will begin during which the rich program of the event will be illustrated, which includes pursuit races, an elegance competition for historic cars, the presentation of prototypes, a drifting show, a drone exhibition and much more.
The Lungomare will be divided into two areas: a track area with a circuit about 1.300 meters long and an event village that will host the main car manufacturers and the latest innovations in the field of motorsport. “It's a dream that is coming true,” said Enzo Rivellini, one of the promoters of the initiative.
“Naples has an illustrious history of great car races, such as the Posillipo Grand Prix, and incredible champions. Although the competition leads drivers to clash in every race, off the track there is a common desire to bring Naples back to the international motorsport circuits. At 15:30 pm: exhibition of modern racing cars and exclusive historic cars in the courtyard of the Tennis Club. At 18:18 pm: journalists, on board cars escorted by the municipal police, will be able to participate in the parade up to Piazza Vittoria and return to the Tennis Club. At 15:XNUMX pm: press conference in the halls of the Tennis Club, with the presence of the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi and national and sports authorities.
