The burial of the body of the young Roma David Jovanovic, a twenty-two-year-old struck by lightning in Cupa Perillo and died in hospital in Giugliano, has been arranged as a matter of urgency.
Vincenzo Santagada, Councilor for Cemeteries for the City of Naples, announced the decision and the immediate implementation of procedures to ensure a dignified burial for the young man in the Cimitero della Pietà.
In response to an appeal sent by several associations to the City of Naples, the question arose regarding the exemption provided for by the Lupi decree regarding the illegal occupation of properties by Roma.
