WE – Nuova Orchestra Italiana returns to the stage with the show “Napoli, tre punti ea capo” at the Teatro Troisi on 9 and 10 March.
For the return to the city, the ensemble founded over 30 years ago by Renzo Arbore, has chosen the Teatro Troisi where it will perform on Saturday 9 March (21.00:10 pm) and Sunday 18.00 March (21.30:XNUMX pm and XNUMX:XNUMX pm), for three performances. Also on this occasion there will be the extraordinary participation of one of the most beloved Neapolitan actors, Gino Rivieccio.
On stage you can find a good part of the original core of the Italian Orchestra that, with its founder, has conquered audiences all over the world: from New York to Buenos Aires, from London to Paris passing through Tokyo, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, Montreal, Caracas, Sydney, Melbourne, Shanghai and Beijing. The lineup is the historic one, born in the early 90s. There is the passionate singing of Gianni Conte, the seductive voice of Barbara Buonaiuto, the vocal and rhythmic virtuosity of Giovanni Imparato, the orchestral direction, the piano and the voice of Massimo Volpe, the guitars and the voices of Giordano Esposito, Michele Montefusco, Marco Manusso, Nicola Cantatore, the percussions and the voice of Peppe Sannino, the drums and the voice of Roberto Ciscognetti, the bass and the voice of Massimo Cecchetti, the poignant and festive mandolins and the voices of Raffaele La Ragione, Salvatore Esposito and Salvatore della Vecchia. 14 versatile musicians capable of involving a transversal audience with a show lasting over two hours, embellished by the incursions on stage of the histrionic Gino Rivieccio.
Among the songs in the setlist, milestones of the boundless Neapolitan musical heritage such as “Torna a Surriento”, “Era de Maggio”, “'O Paese d''o sole”, “Luna rossa”, “Comme facette mammata”, “' O Sarracino”, together with more recent compositions. A cheerful, exciting and engaging repertoire that combines the new and ancient sound of Naples with a grand finale entirely dedicated to Renzo Arbore and his great successes “Vengo Dopo il Tg”, “Cacao marvelo”, “Si la vita è tutto a quiz."
The Nuova Orchestra Italiana brings to the stage the usual energy that has always involved and overwhelmed the audience, with the desire to carry on the precious and brilliant legacy of Arbore.
The show “Napoli, tre punti ea capo” is produced by MusicaèManagement di Giovanni Oliviero and by Gestioni attività teatrali srl – Teatro Augusteo. After returning to Naples, NOI Nuova Orchestra Italiana will stop on May 10 in Vieste, on August 12 in Lamezia Terme and on September 14 in Corato. New dates will be added in the coming days.
