The new adidas kits for the Azzurri were unveiled today, designed to celebrate Italy's footballing identity and guide the Azzurri through upcoming international challenges, including UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany. The home jersey, embodying tradition, features classic blue, enhanced by the tricolor stripes along the shoulders and in the badge on the chest. The away version adds red and green to the white base, with accents on the shoulders, in the badge, and along the sides of the body.
Both kits were designed to inspire a sense of pride and belonging, featuring a unique digitally reinterpreted letter 'I' motif. The words 'L'ITALIA CHIAMÒ' (ITALY CHALLENGED) appear on the back of the neck, celebrating national identity and recalling the words of Mameli's national anthem. Produced with cutting-edge technology and in close collaboration with the FIGC (Italian Football Federation), the jerseys offer excellent performance and maximum safety even under pressure.
Alongside the launch of the Italian national team's kits, adidas also unveiled the kits of six other teams participating in the European Championship: Belgium, Wales, Germany, Scotland, Spain, and Hungary. Additionally, in Germany, adidas will supply the tournament's official match ball, the FUSSBALLLIEBE, which will feature Connected Ball technology to support match officials' decisions through artificial intelligence.
