Tribute to Luciano De Crescenzo at Cinema Posillipo: 40 years since 'Thus Spoke Bellavista'

On March 18, a special event in honor of Luciano De Crescenzo will be held at the Posillipo Cinema Theater to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first screening of 'Thus Spoke Bellavista'.

The film's protagonists and friends of the director will be present. Confirmed participants include Marisa Laurito, Geppy Gleijeses, Benedetto Casillo and other artists.

The initiative is organized by the Luciano De Crescenzo association, chaired by the writer's nephew Michelangelo, together with MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, radio host Gianni Simioli, and film producer Alessandro Cannavale, in collaboration with the newspaper Il Mattino.

The De Crescenzo family, including daughter Paola, husband Raffaele Porzio, and grandson Michelangelo Porzio De Crescenzo, founded the association dedicated to the famous Neapolitan writer and philosopher.

The event to celebrate Luciano De Crescenzo is considered an unmissable popular initiative with free admission to honour one of the greatest artists of Naples, capable of spreading Neapolitan culture and tradition throughout the world.

The goal is also to promote the creation of a museum of Neapolitan artists, so that the works of the city's talented artists can remain part of the cultural heritage of Naples and the entire country.
