Meret: 6. He can do nothing about the first two goals scored by the Blaugrana, having to make two diving saves at the start of the second half. In some interventions he doesn't seem entirely sure, nor can he do anything about Lewandowski's third goal.
By Lorenzo: 5. The beautiful header that forced Ter Stegen to work a miracle should not be misleading: his game was terrible, especially in defence.
Having been penetrated several times in those parts, he was then late on the insertion of Sergi Roberto who served the 3-1 to Lewandowski.
Rahmani: 6. Offset on the defensive line, he keeps Raphinha in play on Fermin's 1-0. Nice insertion for the goal that shortens the distance: it repeats the movement already seen in Sassuolo on the same axis.
Juan Jesus: 5,5. He tries somehow to contain both Lewandowski and Yamal, on Fermin's 1-0 he is in no man's land and realizes it too late.
But he is not the main responsible for the defeat.
Mario Rui: 6. Ups and downs, but the client – Yamal – is one of those uncomfortable ones. He stops him by fair means or foul in some circumstances, less so in others.
In the offensive phase he tries to provide his contribution (from 64′ Olivera: 6. A lack of concentration that fortunately doesn’t pay off, then unlucky in the final).
Anguissa: 5,5. Very slow, makes many precision errors even during the setup phase.
Up front he has a couple of balls to hurt, but he is clumsy.
Lobotka: 6. The maneuver breathes above all thanks to his management of the ball, he acts as a metronome as only he knows how. A little late on the action that leads to 2-0: his failure to close triggers the counterattack of Barcelona.
Traore: 5. The first half was very difficult despite some good ideas, the coverage phase left much to be desired and the Blaugrana skipped the pressure too easily.
Better in the second half, although still out of position at times (from 78' Raspadori: sv).
Politano: 6. The goal of hope comes from his assist, a scheme already tried but perfectly successful. In the second half some regrets for the occasion at the beginning of the second half: he skips well past the opponent but delays the conclusion and is blocked (from 64' Lindstrom: 5,5. He squanders a golden opportunity that could have taken the match to extra time).
Osimhen: 4,5. The man who was missed the most.
Always offside in the first half, in the second half he takes the measures but never becomes dangerous, despite the many occasions created by the Azzurri. The only thrill is a penalty that is not awarded to him.
Kvaratskhelia: 6. There is little space, he tries to exploit it as best he can with a few plays in tight spaces.
However, some signs are arriving: at the start of the second half he grazes the post from outside, he does the same in full recovery (from the 92nd minute Ngonge: sv).
