Meret: 6,5. Called into action very few times, the first on the half-hour mark: a superb diving save on Zapata. He can do little to stop Sanabria's overhead kick from close range: he even touches the ball, which still ends up in the net.

By Lorenzo: 6. A series of interesting crosses from the right at the start, good connection with Politano.

He slowly fades away and is less and less influential offensively in the second half.

Ostigard: 6. Very useful in aerial duels, both in defence and up front, where with a series of interesting passes and headers he tries to spread panic.

Juan Jesus: 6. Not perfect in some situations, cautioned midway through the first half, better in others. Contains Zapata well in the few forays of the Granata forwards.

Mario Rui: 6,5. Defensively there were some mistakes, but up front the axis with Kvara is still hot and reminds us of the good old days: the play and the cross that lead to the goal are of excellent workmanship (from the 80th minute Olivera: sv).

Anguissa: 5,5. Not much, Toro often and willingly skips the midfield with ease and puts less quality forward than usual.

Lobotka: 6. Few gaps, Napoli however moves the ball well and creates many dangerous situations (from 92' Lindstrom: sv).

Zielinski: 5. Some carelessness and a general feeling of a player walking on the pitch, as in the misunderstanding with Lobotka who in the middle of the first half freed Zapata to shoot and forced Meret to make a miracle (from 67' Traore: 6).

Politano: 7. For large stretches of the first half, he was the most dangerous player, with plenty of plays and two perfect chances for Kvara, who however wasted them.

Even at the beginning of the second half the most interesting ideas came from his feet (from 67' Raspadori: 6).

Osimhen: 5. From the first minutes he engages in a nice duel with Buongiorno that the Italian defender wins by a landslide, even using strong methods in some circumstances. He pushes, tries to make himself useful but he creates few concrete occasions.

Kvaratskhelia: 7. The big regret at the start of the one-on-one opportunity with Milinkovic-Savic wasted, but after that it was a solo run by the Georgian.

Chance after chance, the opening goal, a crossbar and a series of terrifying long-range shots that made the Granata defence tremble.
