The Carabinieri of the station of Pianura and the operational nucleus and PMZ of Bagnoli have seized two bakeries that were stealing electricity in Naples.
The two owners, a 34-year-old from Giugliano and a 56-year-old from Pianura, were arrested and placed under house arrest.
The meters in the two rooms had been tampered with and the electrical system connected directly to the main grid.
The estimated damage for the electricity company is over 52 thousand euros in two years.
In addition to the theft of electricity, the Carabinieri found and seized 500 kilos of poorly preserved food in the two bakeries.
The 34-year-old's husband was also reported for having participated in the tampering with the meter.

In the first case, the estimated damage for consumption not detected thanks to the manipulation of the meter is about 18 thousand euros and 200 kilograms of seized food, in the second case instead the fine of 34 thousand euros. Food products in terrible condition also in this place: 300 kilos the weight on the scale of what was seized.
