Pomigliano d'Arco. “There are various building projects underway in the municipal area which, in some cases, involve the construction of buildings that appear to be abnormally large compared to the pre-existing ones.”
This is what was stated in a press release from the political movement Rinascita. “We believe it is necessary – continues the note spread on social media channels and through a poster that has been posted in the city in these hours – that all the authorities responsible for territorial control and protection of legality, carry out the necessary checks to ensure that these activities are carried out in compliance with the laws and building and urban planning regulations in force”.
The communication is part of the debate currently underway in the city following the seizure by the judicial authorities of a series of residential building sites built mostly between 2018 and 2020 on which the judicial authority is currently expressing its opinion.
“In particular – ask the militants of the main opposition party in Pomigliano – that the Campania Region law n. 19/2019 and subsequent amendments (Housing Plan) be respected; the building regulations and the current NTA (technical standards for the implementation of the urban plan); the distances from roads and borders; the building constraint on the maximum number of floors that can be built; the building density limits prescribed by Ministerial Decree 1444/1968 and the heights of the buildings”.
“The protection of the integrity and healthiness of the territory – concludes the manifesto – are primary interests of the community and it is the duty of the Public Administration to ensure compliance with the regulations on urban planning and the environment”.
