Outrage and mobilization: This morning, students at the Viesseux Institute in Imperia protested a sexist post published on LinkedIn by principal Paolo Auricchia.
Auricchia had commented on the accident that occurred to a race assistant by stating that nothing would have happened to her if she had "stayed in the kitchen making tagliatelle".
In protest, the students marched, equipped with aprons and flour to make the famous tagliatelle. Some female students showed up in sportswear in solidarity with the referee.
The protest, in which some professors took part, will be repeated tomorrow to ask for the resignation of the principal.

The principal called the protests "uncalled-for controversy" and tried to justify his post, saying he had not intended to offend anyone.
However, students and many citizens reaffirmed their right to criticize sexist statements, even if they were expressed in an "unfortunate" way.
The principal finally supported the right to freely express one's opinions on social media, "even if they are incorrect" and "contrary to political correctness."
