The Carabinieri Company of Pozzuoli executed a provision for the application of the precautionary measure in prison against three people seriously suspected of extortion and attempted extortion crimes linked to the mafia method.
The operation was authorized by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate.
The individuals involved allegedly threatened and assaulted the owner of a private parking lot in Pozzuoli, attempting to obtain illicit profits and hindering the entrepreneur's legitimate business.
