The Bianca d'Aponte Award for Female Singer-Songwriters announces the launch of its annual tour, featuring some of the winning and finalist artists from previous years. The tour will also include performances by established singer-songwriters who have participated as patrons or guests of the Award.

The first stages of the tour will take place in Madrid and Logroño in Spain, and then continue to Rome, Pieve di Cento (Bo) and Verona. Registrations to participate in the Award contest are currently open and all the necessary information is available on the official website of the Award. The deadline to register is set for April 18, 2024 and participation is open to all musical genres at no cost.

The tour will kick off on March 20th in Madrid with the participation of Cristina Donà, former godmother of the Award, along with three former finalists. Among the artists who will perform during the tour are Irene Buselli, Cristina Cafiero and Valeria Crescenzi in Madrid and Logroño, accompanied by the double bass player and artistic director of the Award, Ferruccio Spinetti.

The evenings will take place in prestigious venues such as the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid and the Rafael Azcona Municipal Library in Logroño, with the event livestreamed via the Institute's social media channels. The tour continues with stops in Rome, Pieve di Cento, and Verona, where several artists who have participated in the Bianca d'Aponte Prize in the past will perform, including the competition's winners and sponsors.

To attend the events, you can book for free online, with all the details regarding ticket purchases available on the official websites of the individual events.
