The meaning of building architecturally: an analysis of the quality of built space An interesting event will be held on Thursday 7 March at 17.30:XNUMX pm at Palazzo Donn'Anna, during which the Ezio De Felice Foundation will present the book “The intangible in architecture – The oikological vocation and the cosmotopic character of the architectural interior” by Agostino Bossi and Paolo Cecere, published by CLEAN editions.
Speakers, including Michelangelo Russo, Imma Forino, Pierluigi Salvadeo, Ludovico Fusco and Leonardo Di Mauro, will discuss the meaning of the concept of building architecturally and the role of built space in the formation of culture, thought and spirituality. The book addresses the issue of the quality of built space from a new perspective, underlining how architecture can offer man a home worthy of being inhabited and passed down, capable of welcoming nature and educating man to take care of it.
Agostino Bossi and Paolo Cecere explore the idea that the construction of living spaces does not derive from the need for protection from the environment, but rather from the desire to create a human and welcoming environment. This interpretation contradicts the common image of the architectural interior as a simple domestic space, proving to be a richer and more complex reality.
Bossi has a vast experience as a professor of Architecture and Interiors, while Cecere is a professor of Philosophy and History. Both offer a unique and original contribution to the understanding of architecture and built space.
