They commit a robbery in Baiano and flee: two Neapolitans arrested

La State Police arrested two men, a 47 year old and a 27 year old, both Neapolitans, for rapina aggravated against a betting agency in Baiano.

Following a report of a robbery, the police officers of the Flying Squad of Napoli and Avellino intervened promptly in the area where the attack occurred.

Thanks to an effective police operation, the officers managed to stop the two robbers: one on board a car on the A16 motorway and the other riding a scooter on the 162 state road.

The 27-year-old was found in possession of a replica pistol with 4 blank rounds and an envelope containing 5.510 euros in banknotes and coins, hidden under the seat of the scooter.

 After the robbery, the two split up: one fled on a scooter, the other in a car.

The images from the video surveillance system of the betting agency allowed us to reconstruct the phases of the robbery and identify the two criminals.

The two men, both with criminal records, were arrested for aggravated robbery.
The 47-year-old was already subjected to the alternative measure to detention of probation to social services.
