A 39-year-old man, resident in Moiano, was arrested on suspicion of being the alleged perpetrator of two robberies, one completed and the other attempted, in the Benevento area.
The Carabinieri carried out the arrest following a house arrest precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Benevento, at the request of the local prosecutor's office led by Aldo Policastro.

The man is suspected of committing a robbery against a pensioner in Montesarchio, during which the victim was attacked and injured, sustaining injuries that required twenty days of treatment. Investigations have also linked the thirty-nine-year-old to an attempted robbery against a woman in the province of Caserta.
The authorities' investigative work has led to the identification of the arrested man as the alleged perpetrator of both robberies. His house arrest is a precautionary measure adopted as part of the ongoing criminal proceedings.
