A dramatic game ended in tragedy: Ciprian Vikal, a 25-year-old of Moldovan origins, was arrested and placed under house arrest for the murder of Francesca Compagnone, a 28-year-old from Riardo, in the province of Caserta.
On October 27, 2022, Francesca Compagnone was fatally shot in the face by a rifle bullet inside her home. The shot was fired by Ciprian Vikal, who was at home with the victim.
The Carabinieri of the Capua Operations Section, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, conducted the investigations.
Serious evidence has been gathered against Vikal, who has been charged with aggravated murder.
The Court of Naples has issued a house arrest warrant for Vikal.
