NDuring an operation in the area of via Salicelle in Afragola, the State Police arrested two young people for possession of narcotic substances.
During a brief chase, the two fugitives attempted to get rid of the drugs by throwing them into a flowerbed, but were promptly stopped by the officers.
The arrested, an 18-year-old from Villaricca and a 21-year-old from Afragola, were found in possession of 8 bags of marijuana and two blocks of hashish. In addition to the drugs, the young men had with them 55 euros in cash divided into banknotes of various denominations.
The State Police of Afragola he acted within the territorial control services to combat drug trafficking.
