An escape attempt by a thirty-five-year-old man was blocked by the Carabinieri at the San Cipriano d'Aversa train station.
The man had escaped from house arrest to which he had been subjected and had initially been arrested for setting a fire near the local “Gino Segre” scientific high school together with a compatriot.
The Carabinieri noticed the escape during a check at his home and immediately started the search. The fugitive was tracked down and stopped at the Villa Literno train station while he was trying to leave the area by train.
