San Cipriano d'Aversa, dangerous waste set on fire near Segre high school: arrested

DTwo people were caught setting fire to hazardous waste near the Gino Segre State Scientific High School in San Cipriano d'Aversa, in the Caserta area.

The two arrested, both residents of Caserta and of Romanian nationality, were arrested by the Carabinieri of the Casal di Principe Company during a service to combat waste fires.

The fire broke out in the afternoon on Via Circumvallazione, where the Carabinieri detected smoke coming from the fire and intercepted the two perpetrators while they were setting fire to plastic and industrial waste.

The authorities requested the intervention of the Aversa Fire Department to put out the flames and, once the arrest procedures were completed, the two were placed under house arrest pending the decisions of the competent judicial authorities.
