During an operation carried out in the afternoon, the State Police arrested a 49-year-old man in St. Joseph Vesuvius for possession of narcotic substances.
During the search at his home, the man attempted to get rid of the hashish packages by throwing them from the balcony, but the officers managed to recover them promptly.
Inside the apartment, additional packages of the same substance were found, with a total weight of approximately 54,5 grams.

The 49-year-old, originally from Castellammare di Stabia and with a criminal record, was arrested for illicit possession of narcotics.
The operation conducted by the San Giuseppe Vesuviano Police Station confirms the commitment of law enforcement in combating drug trafficking in the area.
