The video of the fight between mothers in front of the school in Scampia: what they risk

The folkloristic fight between mothers at the entrance of a nursery school Scampia led to the reporting of all seven protagonists by the Carabinieri. It all started from a Whatsapp group created by mothers to organize participation in school activities. However, one of them decided to change the day of the visit without consulting the others, sparking a heated discussion.

The situation escalated when the two "factions" met as the children were leaving. Verbal protests escalated to insults and then to physical abuse, before the incredulous eyes of those present.

The Carabinieri, responding to a tip-off, identified the seven women involved thanks to surveillance camera footage. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether other individuals were involved.

The incident has sparked outrage in the Scampia community, which is working to free itself from its negative reputation. Violence, in any context, is never the answer, and the mothers involved in this brawl should be a role model for their children.

The possible consequences

The seven women charged face up to three years in prison for brawling. It is hoped that this incident will serve as a warning to everyone and that similar scenes of incivility will be avoided in the future. School should be a place of education and growth, not conflict.
