All nine defendants, two adults and seven minors, involved in the trial for the rapes of the two cousins at Parco Verde in Caivano are asking for a reduction in their sentences.
Lawyer Giovanni Cantelli has filed a request for a conditional summary trial for his client, the nineteen-year-old Pasquale Mosca, also requesting a psychiatric assessment on the young man.
Another request for an abbreviated, but not conditional, procedure was instead advanced for Giuseppe Varriale, also 19 years old, legally represented by the lawyer Dario Procentese.
For the seven minors involved, together with two adults, in the gang rapes of two cousins last summer in Caivano, their lawyers have proposed a “probationary period” and, alternatively, a trial with the abbreviated procedure.
The requests have already been presented to the Juvenile Court of Naples.
