After the release of the singles “Fotografia” (see the video) and " 'E gioche 'e prestiggio “ (watch the visual video) the trio Suonno D'Ajere, with the release of the new album “nun v'annammurate”, continues its artistic journey of exploration, recovery and renewal of the Neapolitan singing heritage.
The album will be released on April 5th by the record label Italian World Beat.
With this new work the band places yet another piece in its varied sound mosaic by creating an album of ten tracks, including unreleased songs and reworks, with two exceptional special guests: Raiz and Le Sorelle Marinetti.
The three young authors and musicians have an immense love for the classic Neapolitan song form and for years they have carried out a careful search for songs from the last three centuries, fishing out harmonies, melodies, pathos and irony from the immense repertoire available.
This second Suonno d'Ajere album will be presented live on April 5th at the Trianon-Viviani Neapolitan Song Theater in Forcella, in the ancient heart of Naples.

Irene Scarpato (vocals), Marcello Smigliante Gentile (mandolin, mandola, mandoloncello, choirs) and Gian Marco Libeccio (classical guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, choirs), come from different musical experiences but together they have immersed themselves in the most ancient traditions of classic Neapolitan song making it your own, in an original way. Thanks to this approach, Suonno d'Ajere, in the last two years, have established themselves as the new ambassadors of Neapolitan song abroad.
After their appearance at WOMEX 2022 in Lisbon, on March 28th the trio will perform at Babel Music XP in Marseille, the prestigious musical event that will introduce Suonno D' Ajere to the French live circuit. More info
After Naples, “nun v'annammurate” will be presented on April 24th in Rome during the Italian Popular Festival at the Museum of Musical Instruments and will then inaugurate a new international tour.

Love is the common thread of the entire album and starts from what the band feels for Neapolitan song, with its language, melodies, expressions, the vibrations that reside in it and which constantly influences Irene's work, Gian Marco and Marcello. It is driven by this love that Suonno d'Ajere also present the two unreleased songs, with the intention of continuing this important tradition, which proves to be current and universal.
