Thirty-nine people are under investigation, of which only 39 have been jailed, in the investigation into drug trafficking, cell phones, and related equipment, which were smuggled into all Italian prisons via drones.
System devised by the inmates of the most important Camorra clans of Napoli and province under the control of the infamous "Secondigliano Alliance". The 360-page precautionary order signed by investigating judge Luca Della Ragione describes the exact operation, the routes, the participants, the roles, the fees, the clients, the end customers, and everyone who collaborated in smuggling all the illegal goods into Italian prisons.
The organization was equipped with car drivers, collaborators and then two particular and main figures of the system, namely the drone pilot. Vincenzo Scagnamiglio, who, as he himself boasts in a conversation with one of his collaborators who was intercepted, earned "up to 10 thousand euros per day" and then Anthony Castiello owner of the company “B2B Consulting”, active in the sector of assistance and sales of drones with headquarters in Montoro, in the province of Avellino, with the task of making the necessary modifications to allow the transport of weights and to overcome anti-drone barriers and operate in "protected" areas, thus eluding from time to time the technical devices set up for protection by the prison administration.
The main architect of the 'renditions' to prisoners in particular Boss of the High Security 3 circuit and their Neapolitan origin, is Vincenzo Scognamiglio. The 38 year old from Cercola during an interview with Joanna Viciglione, his collaborator and trusted person, not knowing that he was being wiretapped, describes the genesis of the organization created to introduce telephone equipment, weapons and narcotics into prison.
During a data connection phone call (intercepted on speakerphone inside his car), with the young boss Giovanni Baratto, who had a telephone inside the Syracuse prison, he spoke about the police checks he had been subjected to.
Then - as stated in the order - "once the telephone conversation was concluded, he reconstructed the genesis of the association to Viciglione, identifying its promoters in John Baratto, “LUCIO' identified in Lucio Musella and “NICOLA8”, identified in Nicholas Brunetti of Forcella, (belonging to the famous "Paranza dei Bambini").
