A couple living in the province of Crotone have been reported for fraud after having promoted car insurance policies at advantageous prices on various websites and having deceived a woman of Benevento.
Convinced that she would buy car insurance for €580 a year, the woman was persuaded to top up a prepaid card and later discovered that she wasn't actually insured.
After realizing she had been the victim of a scam, the woman filed a complaint with the Carabinieri of Telese Terme, who identified the couple and reported them to the Judicial Authorities.
